BARBECUE BUFFET, LIVE ENTERTAINMENT AND FIREWORKS
HIGHLIGHT A WEEKEND OF JULY 4 FESTIVITIES AT THE RITZ-CARLTON, DOVE MOUNTAIN
Restaurants, Barbecue Buffet and Fireworks Will Be Open to the Public
MARANA, AZ. June 17, 2011 – In celebration of Independence Day and to offer hotel guests and area residents the chance to enjoy a relaxed resort setting for the holiday, The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain will host three full days of festivities this July 4 weekend.
The weekend is scheduled to kick off on Friday, July 1 with multiple holiday dining options as well as lawn games for children, the popular CORE Beer Experience, Dive-In Movies, a Night Golf Putting Challenge, and Ranger Rick’s evening Bug Experience. Saturday highlights will include brunch, a midday bocce ball tournament, a 4:30 p.m. candy counting contest, Ritz Kids® dinner, a special Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum animal demonstration, evening s’mores, a weekly Cosmic Slide party and the resort’s Night Sky Telescope Experience.
Sunday, July 3 will cap off the weekend with a day of great food, fun and adventure, including brunch, lawn games, bocce, s’mores, Dive-In Movies and the resort’s annual 4th of July Barbecue Buffet and Fireworks show. Priced at $38 for adults and $18 for children, the Barbecue Buffet is offered from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on July 3 and will be accompanied by live entertainment and followed by the fireworks spectacular beginning at 8:45 p.m. Reservations for all dining events may be made at 520-572-3000.
