Author: Tucson, Ariz. (July 12, 2011) – The Arizona Hotel and Lodging Association has named Lynn Ericksen, general manager of the Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Golf & Tennis Resort, Hotelier of the Year.
Ericksen, was recently elected chairman of the board of directors of the Metropolitan Tucson Convention and Visitors Bureau. He has been on the MTCVB board for three years and general manager of Hilton El Conquistador for four years. He is also the secretary of the Arizona Hotel and Lodging Association, treasurer of the Northern Pima County Chamber of Commerce and sits on the board of the Southern Arizona Lodging and Resort Association.
The AzHLA takes great pride in recognizing the best-of-the-best in the Arizona hospitality industry and these awards are a way to honor those who have made outstanding contributions to the industry and their community. Ericksen will be honored at the Annual STAR (Special Tribute and Recognition) Gala during the Arizona Governor’s Conference on Tourism, July 14 at the Doubletree Paradise Valley Resort in Scottsdale.
