Author: In a development that at least means far fewer “steak in the pants” jokes, Ron Asta was removed from contention in the mayoral race this afternoon at the Pima County Courthouse. I’m not entirely sure what we’re going to do with RonAsta.com now, but this leaves Jonathan Rothschild unopposed in the Democratic primary, Shaun McClusky on the Republican side (at least until his challenge hearing), Pat Darcy as an independent (for now), and the Green Party race between Dave Croteau and Mary DeCamp.…
