Sol Casinos Seeks Hundreds of Job Applicants for Upcoming Resort Launch
Several job fairs to be held throughout summer
TUCSON, Ariz. (June 13, 2011) – In preparation for the launch of Casino Del Sol Resort, Spa and Conference Center-set to open on 11/11/11- Sol Casinos will continue to hold job fairs throughout the summer. At the first job fair held last month at AVA Amphitheater, more than 630 applicants attended, all of which were screened for possible job placement.
Job-seekers will have the opportunity to meet with the resort team and apply for hundreds of positions expected to be created with the opening of the resort this fall.
Upcoming job fair locations and times:
- New Pascua, Gymnasium, Wed., June 15 – 5:30 – 8 p.m.
- New Pascua, Gymnasium, Thurs., June 30 – 5:30 – 8 p.m.
- AVA Amphitheater, Tues., July 14 – 6:30 – 9 p.m.
- AVA Amphitheater, Aug. 19 – 6:30 – 9 p.m.
Applicants are strongly recommended to follow these guidelines:
- Dress in business-like attire
- Bring resumes
• Be prepared for on-site interviews
For questions or more information in advance of each job fair, call Sol Casinos’ human resources department at (520) 838-6521. Sol Casinos is a division of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe. As a result of this ownership, preferential hiring will go to enrolled Pascua Yaqui Tribal Members.
Informational take-home packages will be available for applicants at each fair.
