(MARANA, AZ. June 23, 2011) – The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain will replace its previously-announced July 4 weekend fireworks display with a patriotic-themed laser light spectacular featuring custom light choreography inspired by Dove Mountain’s dramatic canyon setting. The newly-announced multi-sensory laser experience will be presented the evening of July 3 and will last approximately 30 minutes.
Independence Day weekend at The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain is scheduled to kick off on Friday, July 1 with multiple holiday dining options as well as lawn games for children, the popular CORE Beer Experience, Dive-In Movies, a Night Golf Putting Challenge, and Ranger Rick’s evening Bug Experience. Saturday highlights will include brunch, a midday bocce ball tournament, a 4:30 p.m. candy-counting contest, Ritz Kids® dinner, a special Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum animal demonstration, evening s’mores, a weekly Cosmic Slide party and the resort’s Night Sky Telescope Experience. Sunday, July 3 will cap off the weekend with a day of great food, fun and adventure, including brunch, lawn games, boc ce, s’mores, Dive-In Movies and the resort’s annual 4th of July Barbecue Buffet and new laser light spectacular.
Priced at $38 for adults and $18 for children, the outdoor Barbecue Buffet will be presented from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on July 3, accompanied by live entertainment and followed by the 30-minute laser spectacular beginning at 8:45 p.m. Reservations for all dining events may be made at 520-572-3000.
